International soybean variety experiment : tenth report of results, 1983

The first part of the report includes: (1) an alphabetical list, by country, of scientists who cooperated in the 1983 program; (2) brief descriptions of research sites and methods, the cultivars studied, types of data collected, and the statistical analyses to which they were subjected; and (3) a discussion and summary of results of the research, which tested 43 soybean cultivars in 13 environmental zones in tropical, subtropical, and temperate regions. Eight tables and two figures illustrate this presentation. The report"s far longer second part consists of 88 tables delineating the agronomic characteristics of individual research sites around the world - eighty 1983 sites and eight 1982 sites which were not included in the previous report.
