[Land tenure, local institutions and natural resources in Senegal] : volume III -- bibliography on land tenure in Senegal

Part I concerns the analysis of key legislative texts pertaining to natural resources such as the 1964 Loi Relatif au Domaine National, the 1972 Loi Relatif aux Communautes Rurales, and the Forest Code. Part II identifies case studies on resource allocation practices in rural Senegal. The literature is grouped according to the major biogeographical zones of Senegal. This reflects the considerable diversity of social and ecological conditions between one micro- region and another. Most of the citations are in French. (Author abstract, modified)
