Limited scope grant agreement between the United States of America, acting through the Regional Office for Central American Programs (ROCAP) on behalf of the Agency for International Development (AID) and the Tropical Agricultural Research and Training Center (CATIE)

The plan will cover the countries of Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, and Belize and will focus on regional activities and strategies which support the implementation of individual country action plans. The plan will be developed in active collaboration with country leaders and a wide range of national and international institutions, and will be presented, upon completion, to the community of international donors to encourage them to direct their own programs according to the plan and to solicit funding for the plan"s priority actions. In addition to the regional plan, CATIE will publish project profiles, a forest bibliography of Central America, and the results of consultations with forestry experts.
