Abstract
Although this may require a substantial human resource investment, it enables service providers to focus their time and energy on serving patients and permits logisticians to build stronger skills in supply chain management. This document describes an LMU, how it can be structured, the reasons for advocacy, and suggestions on how to begin. Also included are illustrations using country examples.
