The paper discusses the scope and characteristics of appropriate technology in Zimbabwe"s industrial sector; the ownership structure and characteristics of Zimbabwean enterprise; structural features of the macro-economic policy framework; and policies and objectives affecting appropriate technology as enunciated in national development plans.
