MotherCare Nigeria maternal healthcare project qualitative research : literature review

Topics covered include: the direct and indirect causes of maternal death; the circumstances leading to and consequences of caesarian section; the incidence, causes, and consequences of obstetrical complications (such as anemia, diabetes, hypertension, obstructed labor, premature rupture of membranes); prenatal screening; nutrition; abortion; traditional health practices and pregnancy outcomes; and rural women"s health perceptions. The entries include published and unpublished reports, conference proceedings, and articles from medical journals.
