Abstract
Ministry of Public Works roads department responsible for planning, designing, constructing and maintaining the road with review and advice of a us technical advisor. Indigenous training in civil works and road building for roads department personnel. Major issues include bridge underpinning requirements, paving and drainage material specifications, equipment maintenance personnel needs and the inevitability of minor ecological disturbances resulting from construction activities.
