The PES covers the period 7/82-6/85 and consists of a facesheet listing USAID/N action decisions resulting from the evaluation. Action decisions call for Purdue University and INRAN to jointly recruit a new chief of party, a second agronomist for the TA team, and an accountant/office manager and to ensure that research associates will be provided with housing logistical support, and technical oversight before their arrival in Niger. In addition, INRAN should: submit a plan for additional long-term participant and short-term training; and establish a committee to examine financial problems and present their recommendations at the next semi-annual project review.
