Abstract
The project is proceeding on course. The NFE Center at Michigan State University (MSU) represents 145 countries, currently includes 4,673 persons in its network, and receives approximately 86 requests a week for information. During the period, it distributed more than 2,200 copies of MSU/NFE publications, prepared 15 special bibliographies on request, began work on a new annotated bibliography series, and published two issues of The NFE Exchange. Center activities, however, require more staff support than anticipated. The Center has discussed with A.I.D. the possibility of adding a special Women in Development (WID) component to its activities, especially overseas. It was decided that the Center should study its WID-related inquiries and continue to make WID-related services available through its clearinghouse.
