Abstract
Evaluation covers the period 2/21/76-3/16/77; no methodology is provided. A total of 21 decisions are provided for action by CONPAN, USAID/C, AID/W, and/or CSF (Community Systems Foundation). In general, CONPAN should should improve the cost/effectiveness of on-going nutrition projects; generate and conduct pilot projects; and provide for continuing data collection and processing and analysis of nutrition information in order to develop recommendations for policymakers regarding national nutrition intervention programs. CONPAN and USAID/C should justify further use of P.L. 480 contributions to the Minimum Employment Program and attempt to reach an understanding of desired results and criteria. USAID/C should concentrate on early detection of problems and approval of solutions based on field observation and participation.
