Partnership initiatives fund (PIF) impact study

PVO and African NGO partners to carry out short-term collaborative activities. The PIF project was initiated as a learning experience -- to explore how small grants could strengthen local NGO's through partnerships with U.S. PVO's. This impact study provides an overview of the project, followed by four case studies of partnerships: (1) The Center for Development and Population Activities (CEDPA) and L'Appui L'Autoformation des Adultes Applique a l"Action part Alternance et en Alternative (7A); (2) Aid to Artisans and Aid to Artisans/Ghana; (3) Technoserve and the International Association for the Advancement of Women in Africa (ASAWA); and (4) Private Agencies Collaborating Together and Reseau African au Developpement Integre.
