Abstract
Financial assistance was provided to the students, with registration fees were returned and tuition fees exempted for the 2020-2021 academic year. Additionally, the students received stipends for the first three months. The students have been actively engaged in their courses, attending online classes regularly and receiving continuous evaluation by their teachers. To foster a deeper understanding of the students' needs and challenges, Tamkeen conducted interviews with the students, which provided valuable insights into their financial and social status and the impact of the scholarship on their lives. Several challenges were encountered during the first trimester, including frequent power outages and limited access to electricity. To address this issue, the students were provided with tablets from USAID, which enabled them to continue their online classes without interruption. The COVID-19 pandemic also caused a delay in the academic year, resulting in a higher number of students registering for the school and applying for the scholarship. The institute's efforts to support the students have been successful, with the students demonstrating a strong commitment to their studies. The students' performance will continue to be monitored and evaluated by their teachers, ensuring that they receive the necessary support to achieve their academic goals.
