This report summarizes the findings of a case study conducted between June 2005 and June 2006, to analyze public health needs in Ghana, and the ability of the School of Public Health in Accra, Ghana to train the needed public health professionals to respond more effectively to the health challenges in the country and the West African sub-region.

Abstract
