The Service Centers for families of children and persons with disabilities in Bosnia and Herzegovina are focused on strengthening the families of children and persons with disabilities and their development.

Abstract
The centers provide a range of free services, including short stays, psychological support, labor and occupational workshops, individual and group treatment, providing information and legal advice, mobile team support, outdoor activities, education of trainees, creative workshops, and more. Some centers also offer additional services such as information provided by social workers, individual speech therapy treatments, individual special education sessions, animal-assisted therapy, and sports activities. The Service Centers have seen a constant increase in the number of beneficiaries and services provided, indicating that they meet the expectations of beneficiaries. At the end of December 2018, the Service Centers had 766 registered families, and in the period of July - September, they provided over 11,000 services in 4 Centers. The Service Center "Dajte nam šansu" in Sarajevo (SC #1 and SC#2) conducted several significant activities between October and December 2018. These included the Second Colorful Parade, the celebration of 55 years of the Faculty of Philosophy, the celebration of 55 years of the Department of Pedagogy, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, and the Diplomatic Winter Bazaar. The Service Center also hosted meetings with various organizations, including the Association of Creatives "Bravo mi" LinGap, the King Fahd Cultural Center, and the FBiH Employment Bureau. Service Center #1 hosted several notable events, including a visit from Presiding Ombudswoman Nives Jukić, a meeting with representatives of the FBiH Employment Bureau, a meeting with the Association of Psychology Students SINAPSA, and a meeting with a representative of the Novi Grad Municipality. The Service Center also held a music therapy workshop with the Education Center LinGap. Service Center #2 also conducted several significant activities, including a visit from students of the Safvet beg Bašagić primary school, a training for volunteers, and a workshop for the use of music therapy. The Service Center also formalized a Memorandum of Cooperation with the government, the NGO sector, and educational institutions. The Service Centers have a strong focus on providing services to families of children and persons with disabilities, and they have seen significant growth in the number of beneficiaries and services provided. The centers continue to work with various organizations to provide a range of services and support to their beneficiaries.
