Abstract

This report contains a brief review of the project"s history and overall development, a general summary of findings and recommendations, and a step-by-step account of the inspection tours. Inspections were conducted at the Maternity Hospital, the Chest Disease Hospital, San Felipe General Hospital, and the Comavagua Regional Hospital and Health Center. The final section discusses the report"s recommendations in detail. Appendices list people interviewed, provide photographs and catalog cuttings illustrating hospital equipment, and present sample job description forms for hospital mainentance staff.
