Abstract
The program aims to support marginalized groups, including women victims of violence, single mothers, unemployed women under 30, women with disabilities, and women with disabilities. The program's primary objective is to contribute to the economic development of local economies and create employment opportunities for these categories. The program will establish an Entrepreneurial Fund for Women, which will provide financial support to micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises and farms owned by women. The fund will be managed jointly by USAID/PPMG and local self-government units. The program will also provide training and advisory support to women entrepreneurs, including workshops on writing business plans and filling out applications. Local self-government units in Bosnia and Herzegovina are eligible to participate in the program. To apply, they must meet two criteria: provide funds for the Entrepreneurial Fund for Women in an amount equal to the funds requested from USAID/PPMG, and be prepared to apply the program's support model and issue a request for applications for the target groups. The program will also require local self-government units to provide budget funds for the Entrepreneurial Fund for Women by the end of 2017. The program will select local self-government units based on their ability to provide funds and apply the program's support model. The selected units will be required to ensure that representatives of the local business sector are involved in the process of selecting businesses to be supported, and provide advisory support to women entrepreneurs during the process of supporting businesses. A representative of USAID/PPMG will also be included in the committee for selecting businesses to be supported. The program will have a financial review and conduct a financial review of the funded businesses. The USAID/PPMG will request a minimum of 20,000 BAM and a maximum of 150,000 BAM from local self-government units. All inquiries concerning the program will be submitted exclusively to [email protected]. The deadline for submitting applications is July 27, 2017. Interested local self-government units must send their application by the stated deadline, or deliver it themselves to the following address: Ul. 4. viteške brigade 34-36, 71210 Ilidža. Applications that are not submitted in the aforementioned manner will not be taken into consideration.
