The purpose of this paper is to analyze the existing studies and statistical data which can be utilized for an in-depth analysis of income distribution problems in Colombia, Mexico and Venezuela.

In addition, at the end of each country study the author has attempted to discuss briefly which distribution issues seem to be of interest in each of the three nations. In order to make the exposition more orderly, he has organized the discussion in three parts, each of them corresponding to one of the countries studied.
