USAID. MISSION TO MAURITANIA
Project to improve the capability of Mauritania"s Commissariat for Food Security (CSA) personnel to properly store, distribute, market and account for food stocks through training in grain storage, business management, marketing, and accounting.
1983
Abstract
The CSA will implement the project, a companion activity to USAID/M"s multi-year P.L. 480 Title II, Section 206 Food for Development program. Six CSA warehouse management and grain marketing personnel (2 per year for 3 years) will receive 1 or 2 months of U.S. technical training in these subjects, while three mid-level CSA commercial staff will receive long-term academic training (up to, but not past B.A. level) in business management and accounting at Francophone African institutions; long-term training will be spread out over time (no more than two persons absent at once) so that the CSA can ensure continuity of operation.
