Project to provide emergency budgetary support to the Government of Senegal (GOS) and help it to meet IMF performance criteria (in reimbursing crop credit, reimbursing arrears on debts incurred by the parastatal National Office for Cooperation and Development Assistance, and limiting domestic credit expansion) by 12/31/83.

The GOS will covenant to implement major institutional reforms in the agricultural sector in consultation with A.I.D.
