Abstract
The system allows various departments and units within the Ministry of Health, as well as health centers, hospitals, and rehabilitation facilities, to manage, update, and use information on persons with disabilities in their localities. The system enables online operation and data export for management and reporting purposes. The DIS training program is designed to help provinces deploy training faster for officials at all levels, reducing the cost of organization and operation software in localities. The course uses the English abbreviation (DIS) to ensure consistency and shortness between lecturers and students. The program is implemented by the Institute of Population, Health and Development (PHAD) and the Catholic Relief Services (CRS). The course participants include health workers at provincial, district, commune, and individual levels, who will learn to use the DIS for data collection, management, and reporting. The course consists of 12 short online lessons, review sessions, practice sessions, and a final exam. By the end of the course, students will be able to identify and understand concepts and information related to persons with disabilities, collect and record information accurately, and use the DIS for searching, updating, and deleting information. The course methodology involves online learning using free support tools from Google and YouTube. The lessons cover topics such as login and DIS interface screen, collecting and recording information, importing information, searching and making reports, and system administration. The course includes practice tests and a post-course test to evaluate student understanding and skills. The evaluation criteria for the course include total score and post-course test score. Students who achieve a total score of 80 or higher and a post-course test score of 15 or higher will be considered to have passed the course. Students who do not meet these criteria will be notified and required to retake the course. The general training program for the DIS includes an overview of the online course, introduction to login and the system interface screen, instructions on collecting and recording information, and practice tests. The course materials include user manuals, video tutorials, and decision documents related to the implementation of the DIS.
