This analysis lays out a conceptual framework for thinking through the programmatic implications of attacking food insecurity in Guatemala.
Riordan, James T. · 2010

Abstract
In principle, the framework has applicability beyond Guatemala. By its nature, it addresses key issues related to food security and assesses the pros and cons of programmatic options to help countries become more food-secure. The framework analysis builds on the five principles spelled out in the Department of State"s Global Hunger and Food Security Initiative Consultation Document. Those principles mirror the principles of the new approach to food security programming established at the 2009 L"Aquila G8 Summit. (Author abstract, modified)
