Abstract
The purpose of this assessment is to review USAID/Nepal's Strategic Objective 1 for Agriculture and Natural Resources (SO 1), Increased sustainable production and sales of forest and high value agricultural products. Specifically, the purpose of this report is to assess progress to date, advise on the validity of SO 1's current approach given the development context of Nepal and reduced funding from AID/W, assess implementation mechanisms, review the SO framework and indicators, and, if necessary, propose changes.
