This guide describes how to use the Climate Impacts Decision Support Tool (CIMPACT-DST), which USAID is offering to cities to help them improve their resilience to climate change.
2014
Abstract
CIMPACT-DST is part of USAID"s Climate Resilient Infrastructure Services (CRIS) program under the Climate Change Resilient Development (CCRD) project. The guide is organized into four sections: (1) quick step guide – basic steps for using the tool; (2) tool overview -- introduction to the tool"s conceptual and structural framework; (3) getting started -- checklist to prepare for best use of the tool; and (4) the tool itself -- including step-by-step, detailed instructions on how to use it. It explains how to determine situations in which CIMPACT-DST should be used and how to gather needed information, navigate and complete required inputs and understand and use the tool"s outputs.
