Abstract
Key personnel, including Deputy Chief of Party and Chief of Party, have started working on the project. The Rapid Mobilization Plan has been prepared and submitted. The Work Plan revision is in the process of being planned for submission. The Home Office post-kickoff meetings for management and administration have been conducted. Planning meetings for the Start Team and Key Personnel have taken place. The Start Team has been mobilized to Kabul, with key personnel arriving between December 9 and December 11, 2011. These individuals include Contracts Compliance, Engagement Manager, Start-Up Team Lead, Start-Up Recruiter, Start-Up Project Coordinator, and Start-Up Technical Advisor. Meetings with USAID and partners have been held. A meeting with USAID took place on December 19, 2011. A kick-off meeting with AECOM consortia members was held on December 9, 2011. The location of the SIKA East program has been chosen by AECOM, and negotiations are ongoing. Approval requests for AECOM and subcontractor LTTA/ST have been submitted to USAID.
