Abstract
APEC will implement the project. The Service will plan, administer, support, and supervise skills training and human development training programs to ensure that young women possess the skills to perform their jobs safely and efficiently while simultaneously carrying out their home responsibilities. In addition, counseling and employment-related services will be provided to assist low-income women in understanding and effectively utilizing available resources in the fields of health, education, housing, nutrition, employment, legal rights, and transportation. Phase I of the project will consist of a series of studies, surveys, and other information gathering activities and analyses necessary to design subsequent project activities. Based on these data and analyses, APEC will design an implementation plan and budget, detailing future project activities and methods for reaching and working with targeted project beneficiaries.
