FY 2020 Global Water and Development Report

Government Global Water Strategy, which were met and exceeded ahead of schedule. This report highlights USAID’s WASH approach across key thematic areas, including the COVID-19 response, data-informed decision making, climate resilience, managing water resources in fragile states, and empowering women, illustrating how USAID programming increased access to sustainable drinking water and sanitation services, strengthened sector governance and finance, and improved water resource management over the past year. The report also summarizes USAID FY 2020 WASH funding and the results of its water and sanitation activities in the countries where USAID works.
