Abstract
Drawing on the finding that financial subsidies have changed behavior in other health contexts, WASHPaLS conducted a clustered randomised trial in 160 villages in Laos to evaluate the effectiveness of combining financial incentives with Community-led Total Sanitation, a widely-conducted behavior change program. As a result of this work, Thrive published the article "Sanitation, financial incentives and health spillovers: A cluster randomised trial."
