United States Agency for International Development (USAID)/Mozambique currently funds two consortia to implement Strengthening Communities through Integrated Programming (SCIP) activities that focus on integrating health, HIV/AIDS, agriculture, nutrition, water and sanitation service delivery to communities in Zambézia and Nampula.

Abstract
The objectives of this mid-term evaluation were two-fold: 1. Assess the effectiveness of integration as a model for service delivery by SCIP; and 2. Assess processes and mid-term progress toward results in selected areas and determine whether interventions designed are contributing toward the desired result, with the objective of informing future programming decisions (e.g., scale-up, modification, and enhancement) during the second half of SCIP’s implementation.
