Abstract

It provides guidance for planners to incorporate vulnerability assessments into land-use planning, considering the impacts of climate change on municipal assets and people. The tool is organized around three steps: gathering climate information, delimitation and analysis of municipal context, and preparation of territorial analysis of the municipality. It includes checklists and questions to help planners identify critical development sectors and land-use planning objectives affected by current and future climate impacts.
