Abstract
The project, implemented by the Global Alliance for Incinerator Alternatives Philippines (GAIA), focuses on improving solid waste management, including recycling, in these countries. It aims to establish zero-waste pilot projects, build technical capacity, and coordinate cross-border policy campaigns. The project's goal is to reduce waste sent to landfills and incinerated, and instead promote responsible production, consumption, reuse, and recovery of materials.
