USAID Clean Cities, Blue Ocean: Trials of Improved Practices in Dominican Republic

The report presents the results of research conducted in Samaná Province, Dominican Republic, on social and behavior change for improved solid waste management and reduce, reuse, and recycle (3Rs) practices. The research used a methodology called Trials of Improved Practices (TIPs), which combines research and implementation to identify effective behaviors and policies to promote. The report includes an introduction, methodology, results, and findings from the TIPs research, as well as conclusions and recommendations.
