USAID Urban Policy Implementation Assessment

The policy aims to guide USAID's governance and service delivery programs in urban and peri-urban communities. The assessment examines the extent to which USAID has implemented the policy as intended, including awareness and uptake of the policy's vision, integration into program cycle and strategic planning, urban programming and implementation, and leadership and institutional support structures. The assessment uses a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods, including semi-structured interviews, document reviews, and a survey of USAID staff. The report presents key findings, conclusions, and lessons learned, as well as recommendations for improving the effectiveness of the Urban Policy.
