2022

Abstract
The presentation aims to highlight the importance of addressing gender barriers to immunization, particularly in the context of COVID-19. It discusses the various gender-related barriers to routine immunization, such as literacy and education gaps, work and domestic care obligations, limited decision-making power, and limited mobility. The presentation also shares examples of what has worked in addressing these barriers, including increasing the proportion of female vaccinators and leaders, dis-aggregating data, and using gender-sensitive messaging. The webinar features a panel of speakers from various organizations, including USAID, Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, UNICEF, and the Indian Society for Agribusiness Professionals.
