This document is a research brief in French, titled Indice de concordance des couples: Elaboration de l'Indice de concordance des couples et sa relation avec l'utilisation de contraceptifs (Couples' Concordance Index: Development of the Couples' Concordance Index and its Relationship with Contraceptive Use).

Abstract
It is published by MOMENTUM Leadership, a USAID-funded project. The brief presents the results of a study that developed a Couples' Concordance Index (CCI) to measure the level of agreement between couples on demographic data, family planning preferences, and contraceptive use. The study analyzed data from 182 Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS) in 65 countries and found a strong relationship between the CCI and contraceptive use. The brief concludes that the CCI is a useful tool for policymakers to measure the level of agreement between couples and to identify areas for programming.
