2024

Abstract
(JSI) in collaboration with other organizations, funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). The project aimed to support the Government of India's COVID-19 vaccination campaign, particularly in high-risk groups such as healthcare workers and the elderly. The poster highlights the challenges faced by the Government of India in identifying vulnerable groups, accessing remote areas, recruiting skilled healthcare personnel, and countering vaccine hesitancy and misinformation. It then describes the project's multi-level collaboration with government stakeholders, community members, and civil society organizations (CSOs) to develop customized strategies using local knowledge and community assets. The poster presents the project's achievements, including reaching over 56 million people with COVID-19 vaccination messages, facilitating the administration of over 15.6 million vaccine doses, and serving 298 low-coverage districts.
