Management of PPH with Bundle Approach: ESM-UBT and Uterine Balloon Tamponade

The presentation discusses the management of postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) using the Every Second Matters for Mothers and Babies (ESM-UBT) approach, which involves the use of uterine balloon tamponade (UBT) in women with PPH from atonic uterus. The presentation covers the introduction, methodology, and results of a multicentric study conducted in 12 medical colleges in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh, India. It also includes success stories of survivors who underwent the ESM-UBT approach.
