Breakthrough ACTION · 2022

Abstract
The solutions were developed through a collaborative behavioral design process involving caregivers, health workers, and other stakeholders in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The document describes the behavioral barriers to feeding young children during and after illness, the design process, and the resulting solutions, which include a Feeding Prescription, Counseling Aids, Reminder Stickers, a Peer Exchange of Coaxing Strategies, and Home Visits. The solutions aim to support caregivers in feeding their children according to global guidelines and to equip health workers with resources and approaches to support families during illness and recovery.
