Abstract
The guide is divided into 14 themes, each focusing on a specific topic related to nutrition and hygiene. The themes include the importance of nutrition, breastfeeding, complementary feeding, and hygiene practices, as well as how to negotiate with mothers, fathers, and other caregivers to promote healthy behaviors. The guide also covers how to identify and refer malnourished children, and how to support mothers in feeding their children. Additionally, the guide discusses the role of community agents in promoting nutrition and hygiene practices, and how to work with community groups to support these efforts. The guide includes activities, case studies, and facilitator notes to support the training of community agents.
