Abstract
It is a webinar presentation on behalf of the U.S. Global Nutrition Coordination Plan, Ecology of Parent, Infant, and Child (EPIC) Nutrition Subgroup, exploring the anemia ecology. The presentation discusses the application of an ecological approach to assess and address anemia, including the objectives of assessment, common causes of anemia, and population-based assessment of anemia. It also provides considerations for population-based assessment of anemia, including existing data sources, biomarkers, and social determinants. The presentation is authored by USAID, USAID Advancing Nutrition, and several other experts in the field of nutrition.
