Abstract

The toolkit is a comprehensive resource that provides practical tools and strategies for improving and saving the lives of mothers and children in resource-constrained areas of the world. It covers four technical areas: Child Anemia, Maternal Anemia, Vitamin A supplementation, and Food Fortification. The toolkit is designed to be used by frontline health workers, governments, food industry, laboratories, and local institutions to support program design, implementation, management, and evaluation of activities to reduce anemia and improve maternal and child health.
