Abstract
It summarizes the findings of studies undertaken over the past 30 years, examining the food security and nutrition impacts of agricultural projects. The review looks at food security and nutrition impacts separately and then integrates the two in a concluding discussion. It covers topics such as increasing farmer incomes, interventions affecting prices, high-value and export crop production, and other agricultural intervention effects. The document is a part of the Infant and Young Child Nutrition (IYCN) Project, which aims to bring women's and children's nutrition to the forefront of agriculture.
