Abstract
It is a comprehensive guide that covers various aspects of food preservation, including the importance of food preservation, food safety, and different methods of food storage and processing. The guidebook is divided into chapters, each focusing on a specific topic, such as introduction to food preservation, storage and processing of fruits, vegetables, meat, poultry, eggs, milk, and cereal products. The guidebook also provides information on national fermented drinks, rules for storing food in the refrigerator, and references and resources. The document is supported by USAID Advancing Nutrition and is intended to promote healthy and nutritious diets for households in the Kyrgyz Republic.
