Abstract

It provides a comprehensive overview of NACS, including nutrition assessment, classification, and care plans, as well as nutrition education, counselling, and referral. The guide also covers specialized food products to treat acute malnutrition, NACS monitoring and reporting, and resources for facilitators. It is a training manual developed by FANTA, Ghana Ministry of Health, and other partners, with the support of USAID.
