Abstract
The study found that providing small-quantity lipid-based nutrient supplements to women during pregnancy and the first two years of their child's life improved child linear growth and head size compared to iron and folic acid supplements or no supplements. The study's findings suggest that lipid-based nutrient supplements may be a promising approach to reducing stunting in low-income countries.
