New Toolkit for Measuring Caregiver Resources to Strengthen Nurturing Care and Improve Child Nutrition (December 2022)

It highlights the importance of caregiver resources in providing care and participating in programs and services. The toolkit is based on a systematic scoping review of research that measured caregiver resources and complementary feeding in low- and middle-income countries (LMIC). It provides a curated list of measures of caregiver resources, including mental health, social support, and time sufficiency, among others. The toolkit aims to help researchers and program planners design and assess programs that catalyze change and support caregivers in providing nurturing care to infants and young children.
