Abstract
It was developed by the Strengthening Partnerships, Results, and Innovations in Nutrition Globally (SPRING) project, a six-year USAID-funded cooperative agreement. The guide is intended for community support organizations and community volunteers who counsel caregivers on complementary feeding. It covers topics such as water, sanitation, hygiene, food safety, and food preparation, and includes a training package with manuals, handouts, and PowerPoint slides. The guide aims to build local partners' capacity to implement infant and young child feeding interventions.
