Nutrition Training and Supply Needs in Northern Ghana: Rapid Assessment (June 2023)

The report presents the findings of a rapid assessment conducted in 55 districts in Northern Ghana to determine the gaps in training and supplies needed for the provision of maternal and child health and nutrition (MCHN) services. The assessment aimed to identify the number of health workers requiring training, shortfalls in essential supplies, and equipment needs of networks of practice (NoPs) in the zone of influence to provide quality MCHN services. The report provides an overview of the assessment's objectives, methods, and findings, including the huge gaps in training and supplies needed to improve the quality of MCHN services in the districts.
