Abstract
The handbook provides guidelines for the manufacture and handling of three supplementary food products: ProKal 629, ProKal 10224, and ProKal P2L, which are designed to improve the nutritional status of pregnant and lactating women, their children, and other orphans and vulnerable children in Zambia. The handbook covers topics such as raw materials, building requirements, process flow, handling and storage, hygiene and good manufacturing practices, quality assurance, and packaging specifications.
