Abstract
The report aims to provide an overview of the current state of SBC in protracted nutrition emergencies, identify gaps in programming and documentation, and outline priority questions for future learning and research. The report is based on a review of documents and key informant interviews with BHA staff and implementing partners. It covers topics such as the importance of SBC in protracted emergencies, the range of SBC methods and approaches being used, and the common perceived strengths and weaknesses of SBC design, implementation, monitoring, and adaptation in protracted nutrition emergency responses. The report also provides recommendations for BHA and implementing partners to strengthen SBC in emergency contexts.
