Abstract
Architectural comments focused on the need for additional specifications, including a rigid insulation section for exterior walls, painting and tile specifications, and revisions to door and window details. The reviewer also suggested revising the disclaimer note to accurately reflect agreed-upon code deviations. Structural comments highlighted the need for additional heating in the boiler room to prevent freezing damage to pipes. The reviewer also recommended reinstating a transfer grille in the restroom to provide transfer air for the room exhaust fan. Furthermore, the structural team suggested showing the quantity and location of washers on the mechanical drawing and adding a description of the toilet exhaust fan for compliance with the Mechanical Code ventilation requirements. Civil comments focused on the need for benchmark and survey control data, as well as the provision of water and sewer designs. The reviewer also noted that the wastewater treatment facility was not part of the scope. Additionally, the civil team suggested revising the graphics on the architectural drawings to ensure consistency with the structural details. Mechanical comments were limited, with the reviewer noting that the water and sewer designs had been removed from the package. However, the mechanical team did suggest revising the design analysis to include a description of the toilet exhaust fan for compliance with the Mechanical Code ventilation requirements. Electrical comments were not provided in the document. Plumbing comments were also limited, with the reviewer noting that the concrete splash blocks needed at downspouts and that the metal gutters and downspouts should be galvanized. The reviewer suggested revising the drawings to address the noted comments and providing additional information, including benchmark and survey control data, water and sewer designs, and the description of the toilet exhaust fan. The revisions were to be provided in subsequent submittals.
